Community herbalist Ingrid Abbate, who has 12 years of experience as an herbal medicine grower and medicine maker, teaches this recorded online workshop. Ingrid will be teaching how to grow a number of essential plants to boost immunity, ease stress, and support the respiratory system.

Ingrid Abbate has a background in small-scale farming medicinal plants and teaching garden based classes in her community and is based in Olympia, WA. She has 12 years of experience as an herbal medicine grower and medicine maker. Her teachers include herbalists Joyce Nettishen, Elise Krohn, Marja Eloheimo and numerous other plant and ecology professors at The Evergreen State College. She is inspired by the healing and connective power of gathering together as people with plants in the garden.
