Friday June 4th, 2:00-4:30 online, $30/$50 per person sliding scale

Summer is berry picking season! Learn to identify, harvest, and prepare eight native berries. Teachers will receive a Native Berry Toolkit, which includes a handout, two lessons, Coast Salish stories, a Powerpoint, berry identification cards, bingo, recipes, and other activities. Presenters will share ways to adapt the materials for kindergarteners through adults. This is a great toolkit to incorporate into summer camps, outdoor education programs, and school garden programs.
