Welcome to Spring!
The March Volunteer Orientation will be hosted at the farmhouse on Wednesday, March 13. This is an opportunity to meet other volunteers and staff, learn about how you can get involved. Experienced GRuB volutneers as well as newbies are invited to join.
5:30 pm-6:30 pm is the Volunteer Orientation part of the evening aimed towards new volunteers and people hoping to get involved with GRuB's work: we will give a background on GRuB, take a tour if weather permits, and share about our seasonal volunteer opportunities and ways you can plug in. There will be time for you to share your interests as well. This portion of the night is set for people new to GRuB.
6:30 pm-7:30 pm is set as a social hour for new and old volunteers. IF you have been to an orientation before, feel free to skip that portion of the evening. In the later half of our gathering, the goal is to have a space to visit with each other, munch on some yummy snacks (we will provide some, and feel free to bring something to share), and just chat about what we are excited for in the coming growing season.
ACCESSIBILITY : there is a wheelchair ramp and accessible parking spot in front of the farm house. Material covered verbally will come with paper copies for reference and to take home. Caregivers invited and welcome. There will be chairs and space available for standing/movement. People of all abilities welcome.
If there are specific accomodations you'd like to check-in about, please contact Heather at 360-753-5522 or firstname.lastname@example.org
