Cordials, bitters & shrubs are all delightful ways to preserve the medicine & season of many plants, and are lovely to enjoy during the cold & grey of winter. In this class, we will learn a brief history of distillation, the basics of making cordials, bitters, and shrubs, as well as simple and delicious cocktail recipes that you can share with the ones you love. Together, we will make elderberry shrub, chamomile and rose cordial, and warming dandelion root bitters. Plus we will taste several cocktail recipes. Light snacks will be provided. Participants must be 21 years or older and will take home small bottles of each of our homemade libations, along with recipes.
